Sherwood Design Engineers worked with Pinto & Partners to create a sustainability framework for a 90-acre mixed use development district in the City of Davis. The project looked at ecology, agriculture, urban biodiversity, infrastructure, transportation, and economics. Sherwood looked into various sustainability frameworks including LEED, Living Building Challenge, and Envision to generate a custom-designed framework. The framework provided insight, principles, and specific strategies to develop a highly sustainable district.
