LA Union Station

In collaboration with Studio MLA, Sherwood is providing the comprehensive stormwater management strategy for this iconic Los Angeles site. Located just east of downtown Los Angeles, this project features five sites, including: replacement of an existing parking lot along the western frontage, sidewalk widening improvements along Alameda Street, streetscape improvements along North Los Angeles Street, surface improvements to Father Serra Park, and improvements to the northern curb and bus lane of Arcadia Street. While the existing conditions of the sites differ, our proposed improvements look to enhance the user experience and connectivity of all five sites. The project will go beyond stormwater regulatory requirements to meet the project’s ambitious sustainability framework goals.
