Cabo Sao Roque

Sherwood Design Engineers worked for over three years on a 4,000-acre master planning project in Natal, Brazil. This project brings together many exceptional sports, music, and recreation-oriented brands all under one roof to make a diverse and culturally rich destination environment. Sherwood was involved in the master planning from project inception – advising on environmental constraints, sustainability, infrastructure master planning, and permitting strategies. Part of Sherwood’s work included leading a restoration strategy that revegetates riparian corridors and replants threatened Atlantic Forest to create an ecologically rich environment. Sherwood’s infrastructure design work started with an emphasis on sustainable design; incorporating resource efficient systems that deliver cost effective solutions for the project as it develops.
