Shuyue Liu

Shuyue is a passionate advocate for harmonizing nature with urban spaces through her expertise in landscape architecture. Her journey in this field began with a genuine love for plants and a fascination with the dynamic interplay between natural and built environments. Shuyue’s commitment to creating spaces that seamlessly blend the past and future sets her apart. She envisions environments that not only reflect historical significance but also pave the way for future generations to enjoy. She graduated with a master degree of Landscape Architecture from Harvard GSD and a bachelor degree of Architecture from Chongqing University. Recently, she and her friend delved into the history of Chinese workers in the Transcontinental Railroad with support from the Pennywhite Fund.

Fun facts: A global explorer, Shuyue cherishes travel, especially with her parents. Florence stands out among her favorite trips, with its museums leaving a lasting impression. Outside work, she enjoys running, cooking, and exploring new restaurants for hotpot, paella, and dim sum.
