Lakshmi Ramesh

Lakshmi is a water and wastewater Engineer-in-Training with over four years of experience in treatment operations and design. A licensed Drinking Water Treatment Plant Operator, she received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in India and an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois. Her passion for sustainable infrastructure stemmed from her summer school in Vietnam where she studied environmental ethics and the human dimension of sustainability.  Prior to joining Sherwood’s SF office, she worked as an operations specialist for a water utility in South Carolina and as a consulting engineer for a civil engineering firm in California’s Central Valley.
