Ian McRae
Ian is a Landscape Architect that is passionate about the processes that exist where the ecological and urban realms intersect. His design and planning of complex systems seek to integrate environmental performance and promote community resilience to elevate the engineering process. With a Master in Landscape Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology, Ian studies the innovative potential that lies at the interface of science and design. This is also pursued both as a university educator, currently serving as a lecturer at UC Berkeley and previously as a visiting professor at the University of Tennessee, and as an urban design consultant, 3d modeling and simulating alternative design proposals in projected future climates.
Fun Facts: Ian is an automotive enthusiast that previously worked as a data analyst in the racing industry, he also enjoys exploring the mountains to backpack around the United States.
