Courtney King
Courtney’s work experience has been focused on the planning and design of water infrastructure. These projects including water & wastewater treatment, distribution & collection, recycled water, urban & green infrastructure, water resources, and technical training programs. Prior to working at Sherwood, Courtney was working at the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) as an associate engineer in the inflow/infiltration control program (which included investigating increased levels of stormwater in the wastewater collection system) and in the water service planning department (which included hydraulic modeling of the water distribution system and water storage facility improvement planning). She has a M.S. in Environmental Engineering and B.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering, both from UC Berkeley.
Fun Facts: Outside of work, she is a project manager & builder of large-scale art projects for Burning Man.
