The Lodge at the Presidio

Presidio building 105 is an historic building and site that has been converted into a hotel. The site is in an archaeologically sensitive zone which added complications to the design. It needed to preserve the character-defining features and remaining historic fabric of the interior and exterior consistent with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation. Sherwood provided site development design support: drainage, utilities, site layout, grading and erosion control for schematic through construction documentation for the historic renovation. Sherwood also provided constructed administration. The site is currently going through LEED documentation.
