Pablo Fonseca

Pablo serves as a BIM Tech Manager at Sherwood Design Engineers, where his work focuses on process optimization, civil design automation, and computational workflows. He graduated with a Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and holds a specialization in BIM Project Management. With a strong foundation in ISO 19650 standards, he has managed and coordinated over 60 complex infrastructure projects. He specializes in integrating reality capture, Open BIM standards, and custom tool development. He is deeply passionate about leveraging technology to drive smarter, data-driven decisions in modern engineering.

Fun Facts: In 2017, he was selected to participate in the Youth Parliament at the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica. Outside of civil engineering, he is fascinated by machine learning and enjoys training AI models to process complex 3D spatial data in his free time. He is an avid reader with an extensive book collection focused on politics and psychology, which ties perfectly into his fascination with cognitive science and researching how to optimize human memory.
