Jim Graul leads the CAD department as a seasoned technician with over 20 years of experience working with Computer Design systems across many disciplines including, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Lighting Design, Theatrical and Acoustic Engineering, Commercial and Residential Architectural Design, Structural Engineering, and Landscape Design. He has worked with Civil 3D, Revit, and AutoCAD programs (among others) and has extensive experience with data integration through multiple data sources. Jim has also worked on a variety of project types including, infrastructure, mixed use developments, residential, corporate and institutional campuses.
Fun Fact: Jim was hired for his first “real” job two hours before the Loma Prieta earthquake hit in 1989. This meant that he had to call in sick to his first day on the job because the Bay Bridge was closed, BART wasn’t running, and the Marina was on fire.
