Dan Nolan has joined Sherwood Design Engineers as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a strategic finance and operations leader within mission-driven and sustainability-focused organizations. Dan oversees Sherwood’s financial strategy and operations, supporting long-term fiscal resilience while aligning financial stewardship with the firm’s commitment to regenerative infrastructure, water systems, and climate-responsive design.

With a foundation in civil engineering and deep experience at the intersection of finance, infrastructure, and environmental impact, Dan brings a practical, systems-oriented perspective to his role. At Sherwood, he partners with leadership and practice teams to strengthen financial systems, support strategic growth, and ensure financial decisions reinforce the firm’s mission and culture.

Fun Facts: Dan was a collegiate rugby player, and played rugby in 6 different countries.
