Langfang

For the City of Langfang centered in the Northern China Plain, Sherwood provided integrated engineering services to advance the citywide master planning effort. Working with HOK China and Woods Bagot of San Francisco, California, Sherwood developed city-scale strategies for the implementation of wetlands to expand natural habitat areas and aquifer recharge lakes to counteract the forces of land subsidence which threatens the viability of the region. Sherwood advanced the hydrologic systems modeling and the open space conservation restoration in collaboration with the team.
