Spirit Rock Center

Spirit Rock, an idyllic 400-acre project in West Marin, includes a 10,000-sf Buddhist Meditation Hall, 80 retreat rooms, central septic, propane and water systems, hundreds of parking spaces, as well as many other improvements. Working closely with the institution, Sherwood completed sustainable site and infrastructure improvements for 48 additional retreat rooms, a 6,100-sf Gateway House, a self-contained village for 36 staff, a Hermitage for long-term practice, a Meeting Hall for 500+ occupants, a 200-seat Dining Hall, classrooms, and bookstore.
