Center for Early Education

Sherwood is on a team tasked with the phased redevelopment and expansion of the Center for Early Education campus that resides along a busy through-way in the West Hollywood and Beverly Hills neighborhoods. The school acquired multiple neighboring parcels to expand and reconstruct their La Cienega Building (+/- 30,000 GSF), Clinton Street Building (+/-30,000 GSF) and double the size of the underground parking garage. This project includes streetscape improvements along all three frontages of the project: Clinton Street, La Cienega Boulevard and North Alfred Street; and significant expansion/improvements of the outdoor playfield including the improvements and realignment of the public alley that runs behind the school. Sherwood is also contributing by leading the development of the project’s sustainable water strategy that led to a comprehensive campus-wide groundwater and stormwater collection, storage, and treatment systems to comply with local regulations, build off their existing system and to educate and sustain their use of water and energy demands as their campus continues to grow.
